BISHOP ODEDEJI ORDAINS 15 AT TRINITY ORDINATION

The Bishop of the Diocese of Lagos West (Anglican Communion), The Rt. Revd Dr James Olusola Odedeji ordained nine new deacons and six new priests at a colourful ceremony of Trinity Ordination held at Anglican Church of the Ascension, Opebi, Lagos today.

The Bishop charged the deacons and priests to be faithful, loyal and diligent in the discharge of their responsibilities. He also encouraged them not to be corrupted and always remember that they are under surveillance of God and men.

The Venerable Olaoluwa Adeyemi, the Archdeacon of Ikorodu and the Principal of Babington Macaulay Junior Seminary Ikorodu, who preached at the service told the 15 men to see themselves as sheep been sent into the midst of wolves. He also admonished them to work hard to keep pace with the dynamic setting in the sacred ministry today.
