DIOCESE OF LAGOS WEST HELD HER 22ND DIOCESAN ANNIVERSARY

The 22^nd Anniversary of the Diocese of Lagos West was held on Saturday November 20, 2022 at the Archbishop Vining Memorial Church Cathedral, GRA, Ikeja, Lagos at 2pm. The Anniversary Thanksgiving was a Holy Communion Service presided over by the Diocesan Bishop, the Rt Revd Dr. James Olusola Odedeji and the sermon was preached by the Venerable Archdeacon Samuel Fatoyinbo. It was well attended by the various dignitaries of both Clergy and Laity.

Venerable Fatoyinbo, in his sermon, emphasized that our being more than conqueror was not what we worked for but on what Christ did at the cross of Calvary for us. He challenged the congregation to give their lives to Christ and allow Christ to fight their battle in order to be more than the conqueror.

The Service ended with thanksgiving from all the Archdeaconries and the Diocesan Bishop.
