DIOCESE OF LAGOS WEST HOLDS PRAYER CONFERENCE

The Diocese of Lagos West held a Prayer Conference on Saturday January 11, 2020 at Archbishop Vining Memorial Church Cathedral, Ikeja in Lagos. There were sessions of prayers led by clergymen. According to the Diocesan Bishop, the Rt Revd James Olusola Odedeji, the purpose of the conference was to cry to God on some pressing needs of the world, the nation, the church and the families for the new year.

Prayers were offered to God for the entire world especially that God may avert the looming war being orchestrated between Iran and America and anything that threatened National peace coexistence, insecurity, Boko Haram, kidnappings and senseless killings.

Furthermore, prayer was offered for the unity of the church, anointing upon the Diocesan and the Clergy for God to use them for salvation of souls and miracles this year.

It was ended with diverse prayers for families and the Youth.

The conference was sponsored by the Apostles of Peace Society International.
