BISHOP ODEDEJI LAID FOUNDATION OF A NEW BISHOP SCOURT

The Climax of the third Session of the sixth Synod was the foundation laying of a new ultra modern Bishop s Court of the Diocesan Bishop of the Lagos West. After the recession from the thanksgiving service of the Synod on Sunday May 21, 2017, the dignitaries accompanied the Lord Bishop of the Diocese, the Rt Revd Dr. James Olusola Odedeji to the site of the new court at Oduduwa Crescent, GRA, Ikeja in Lagos State.

According to Diocesan Bishop, the present Bishop s Court did not really befit Diocese of Lagos West because it has no chapel, chaplains houses and other buildings that makes up of an Anglican Bishop s Court. And site of the new one is fully residential compared to the present which is fully commercial. He further stressed that Dioceses that are not up to Lagos West are having a standard Anglican Bishop s Court. Therefore the need for a new one.
