Bishop Odedeji also acclaimed that he had never collected money from any politician for support and that he had no candidates among the aspirants that whosoever emerges as the winner and govern us well, the Church will support him.

In an interview with the Press on the Election day in the Bishop s Court, Bishop Odedeji expressed his dissatisfaction with the conduct of the election especially the mass failure of the card readers in the accreditation of the voters but he was impressed with the turn out of the people to elect the next President.

The observers were satisfied with the conduct of the elections. It was reported that the card readers worked very well in most areas while few area had it malfunctioning. It was also observed that there was no violence and the conduct of the accreditation and voting were fair, free and transparent.
