DIOCESE OF LAGOS WEST IS A GREAT WORTHY COMPANION TO THE STATE – MR BABAJIDE SANWO-OLU

At the Thanksgiving Service of celebration of decade of Glory of the Episcopacy of the Rt Revd Dr. James Olusola Odedeji held at Archbishop Vining Memorial Church Cathedral, GRA Ikeja on Saturday May 6, 2023, the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu in his goodwill message to the Bishop, acknowledged that the Diocese of Lagos West has been a great worthy companion to the state in development, sensitizing and promotion of peace, tolerance and understanding among Christian groups.

Mr Sanwo-Olu said the Society can only prosper in a peaceful and godly environment. He further stated that the ten year of the Bishop Odedeji have been full of peace, aggressive evangelism and message of hope to the state.

The Governor reiterated that the vision of the Diocesan Bishop of Lagos West has also reposition mission schools around Lagos State.

His Excellency concluded requesting the usual cooperation of the Bishop as he commenced the new dispensation and administration. He concluded that with prayers and advice of the Bishop, the state will be a better place.
