BISHOP ODEDEJI FETES DIOCESAN BOARD MEMBERS, OTHERS TO XMAS GET-TOGETHER.

As its customary during the yuletide, the Lord Bishop, Diocese of Lagos West (Anglican Communion), Rt. Rev. Dr. James Olusola Odedeji, and his wife, Dr. (Mrs) Lydia Olukemi Odedeji once again hosted the Diocesan Board, members of the Greater Chapter, Standing Committee members of the Cathedral, and selected members of the diocese at the 2022 Christmas/End of Year Get-together at the magnificent Bishopscourt in Ikeja GRA on Wednesday,21st, December,2022.

The event which was compered by the Ven. Funso Oginni started with the Church Hymnal 108, and an opening prayer by the Dean of the Cathedral, the Ven. Ebenezer Adewole.

In his opening remarks, the Lord Bishop thanked God for His grace and benevolence over the diocese, especially in the outgoing year.

Highpoint of the ceremony was the remarks by some of the dignitaries who eulogised the Diocesan for his style of leadership; his forgiven spirit; the testimony of God's presence in the affairs of the diocese and its members. The Ven. Theo Nwabasili proposed the toast of "the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit".

The well-attended event ended with the closing remark from the Diocesan who appreciated the fellowship; and was optimistic of a brighter future for the diocese, and thanked God for all He has done.

The closing carol was taken from the Church Hymnal 104 while the Diocesan offered the closing prayer and the benediction.
