Synod News Update

No human being or organization is omniscient; everything Omni (Omniscience, Omnipresence and Omnipotence) belongs to the exclusive domain of the divine. Because tomorrow is unknown, every person or organization that is intent on success must necessarily rely on the guidance of the all-knowing God. A successful life journey thus depends largely on proper guidance among other variables like hard work and grace. This truth visibly plays out in the journey, so far, of the Diocese of Lagos West that has been anchored on divine guidance since inception. Synod News is glad to present you with the Annual Diocesan Themes which usually double as Synod Theme each year in the Diocese’s journey towards actualizing its vision of being the leading Diocese in the Church of Nigeria in preparing the Nation for the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Considering the general acclaim the Diocese attracts, at least from some quarters, as the largest and fastest growing Anglican Diocese in Africa, minds that are intent on success cannot but want to inquire into the secret of her success which, to us, is simply Divine Guidance anchored on God’s word. The Annual/Synod Themes as listed below are a nostalgic reminiscence of the past effort that dovetailed through the path of faith into the present success story that is being frantically harnessed.
